Summary of Content: Two hair samples folded into a piece of paper on which is written, "My father's and my mother's hair, C. Leuty." This item was originally housed in Gideon Savage's wooden chest (GLC01450.013.02) with others decimalized in GLC01450.013. Sarah Savage was Gideon's wife. Savage served as a Corporal of Artillery and Artificer for the Connecticut Continental Line in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.
